Ember, The Dragon That Saved Christmas

Introduction:

In the snow-kissed valley of Evergreen, where frosted pine trees whispered secrets of old, there existed a world of wonder and warmth. Here, the villagers, known for their cheerful hearts and festive spirits, prepared for Christmas, their most beloved time of the year. But just beyond their cozy, lantern-lit homes, at the edge of the whispering woods, lay a secret that was yet to unfold – a gentle giant, a dragon named Ember, with scales that shimmered like the Northern Lights. Unknown to the villagers, this Christmas was destined to be unlike any other, a magical tale of friendship, courage, and the spirit of giving, all woven together by the wings of Ember.

Ember, The Dragon That Saved Christmas

In the valley of Evergreen,
so snowy and bright,
Lived a dragon named Ember,
a magnificent sight.

With scales of deep green
and a heart oh so big,
He watched the town’s Christmas,
dancing a festive jig.

But the villagers quivered,
shivered, and shook,
For they judged our friend
by his monstrous look.

Ember longed to join in,
to be merry and cheer,
But his attempts to get close
filled them all with fear.

Then one Christmas Eve,
as the stars shone like lace,
A blizzard blew in,
covering every space.

That one Christmas Eve,
a problem arose,
The supplies for the feast,
in a blizzard froze.

In a distant town,
A snow mound upon,
Without these, the spirit
of Christmas was gone.

The town was in trouble,
with Christmas at stake,
And Ember knew
it was his chance to partake.

With a heart full of courage,
and wings spread so wide,
He flew through the storm,
with hope as his guide.

But oh! The journey was
treacherous, risky, and grim,
Through howling winds
that pushed and pulled at his whim.

In the town far away,
where the supplies were stuck,
Ember gathered them up,
with a bit of good luck.

But on his way back,
the danger grew tall,
As a gust of wind
nearly made him fall.

He soared and he struggled,
but his spirit didn’t bend,
For he knew in his heart
he’d make it in the end.

When he finally arrived,
the villagers saw,
Not a beast to be feared,
but a friend with no flaw.

They danced and they cheered,
and sang songs of joy,
For this kind-hearted dragon,
no longer coy.

Together they feasted,
and celebrated the night,
With Ember, their hero,
now a heartwarming sight.

From that day on,
in the village so dear,
Ember was loved,
year after year.

And each Christmas was special,
full of joy, fun, and laughter,
With Ember and the villagers,
happy ever after.

So remember this tale
of Ember, so true,
How he changed their hearts,
through and through.

For in Evergreen Valley,
it’s warmly retold,
A story of friendship,
more precious than gold.
